Why He’s Hot:
- This is Brett Anderson - frontman of Suede aka Dark Overlord of the Fringe. Everyone’s favourite pinup boy and diva. This bitch is straight out beautiful. That perfectly triangular nose. Those unbelievable cheekbones. That fringe. Those lips. And let’s not forget his seductive stare. This man can stand next to David Bowie and match him in cool.
- Goddamnit, his voice. Not only does he have one of the most arresting voices in the business, but one of the most evocative - it takes you to a ~a different place~. His speaking voice is pretty sexy too but mostly you just want to watch his gorgeous face for his cute as fuck facial expressions.
- Which brings us to, the lyrics - who else goes from quoting Bryon to ‘shaking obscene like a fucking machine’? Romantic, sexual, ridiculous and fuck yeah, sometimes just fabulous pop – Brett does it all. Morrissey even covered one of Suede’s bsides - songwriting props don’t get more GQ than that.
- He’s known for his androgynous look (one of the band member’s parents thought he was a girl yes rly) and enjoys pissing off close minded people. He’s truly not afraid to shake his bits to the hits. Just look at him famously hitting his ass with the microphone. He may have stopped that, but those snake-charming hips are still very much in action.
- Most importantly, he’s the David Bowie of our generation. Whether this means refusing to wear glitter dramatically, proclaiming that he has the best drugs in London, slapping pigs, posing with a harp in the field, impersonating the Grim Reaper or covering Christina Aguilera, he is beautiful, in every single way, and words can’t bring him down.
